E-bikes(Electric-bike) enable you to visit more deep local spots in Hida Furukawa.
Our guides will take you to the neighbors around the town, and you will get into the hidden gems such as the secret farmers area and the very quiet but beautiful shrine, which relates to an annual special festival in the town. The guides will show you how the festival is in our life.
We will have the tea break on the top of the hill, where magnificent landscape will wait for you. Then you make your way to the town, and cycle through the old preserved town, which you find the contrast between farmers area and town area.

A special time!
This was one of the highlights of our trip! We were so happy to experience the amazing countryside scenery and local culture with our guide Juri. She was so friendly and enthusiastic to share about local life in Hida Furukawa. The bikes themselves are electric and very easy to ride. There are many sites that you'll get to visit, from local farm lands, to areas around the town, and a scenic lookout spot. What was most memorable though, was having Juri there to help us interact with the friendly locals (as we barely speak Japanese). In this regard, it was a chance for us to experience small moments of life with them. Definitely try the local fresh fruits! We highly recommend this tour!!

Highlight of our entire trip to Japan!
DO THIS!!!!!!! My mom, sister, and I took our first trip to Japan this last October. We spent a few days in Takayama and took the train one stop to do this tour. We make a point to do at least one bike tour in every country we travel to. Shingo was the best of the best - an informed, fun, and patient guide. He's passionate about his hometown and his English is excellent. The countryside is beautiful and it was special to feel the vibe of the town. It didn't hurt that the bikes were electric and we cruised up all hills effortlessly. We will treasure this afternoon forever (and can, because Shingo took lots of pictures of us and shared them on google drive after). Don't miss this!!!

Fantastic e-Bike expereince in Hida
Shinji was ana amazing tour guide. We got a good mix of explanation of the area, exercise pedaling, and letting the bike do the hard work going up the hill. Fantastic views that I would not get on foot and could not find on my own. We really had a great time. Shinji even took some photos of us in action and sent them to us at the end of the day. Oh, and his English is perfect. If you want a small, authentic, personal experience, this is it?

How is the course like? Should I have to be in good physical shape?
This tour includes some uphill. However, it is very easy with our E-bikes and no difficulty even for beginner.

Basically we don't run the tour in case of the rain for the safety. If we decide to cancel the tour, we will inform you by a day before the tour. (The tour may be cancelled if the previous day’s weather forecast (Japan Meteorological Agency) says the chance of rain is more than 60%. Please be sure to check your email before the tour.
