This is a walking tour to know more about the charming the town Hida Furukawa.
Our informative and knowledgeable guide takes you to the back and side streets of the town to show the history and culture of it. You will also have a bite of small snacks, taste local biscuits and sake at our guide's favorite and recommended places.
At the end of the tour, we stop at the cozy traditional coffee shop, and have a chatting with our friendly local guide about our lifestyle (and hopefully your lifestyle)!

Perfect rainy day
Due to rain our cycle tour had to be cancelled a great disappointed but Juri our lovely guide gave us an excellent walking tour of Takayama instead. Her knowledge was immense but she was never boring and we learnt a lot about the town and its traditions. Juri was the perfect guide.

Shinji and Jun made us very welcome and gave us a very interesting, informative tour of Furukawa. Highlights included the museum showing the festival floats, dragon suits and marionettes as well as the various food and sake tasting stops!
