Our fishing experience hosted by local expert anglers is the perfect introduction to fishing for beginners. Learn how to fish in casting off and reeling in your first catch. You've got lessons on gently flowing rivers. You might even have lunch with the fish you get.

Thanks Shinji and Catsa for a unique fishing tour experience in beautiful Takayama. As we were 4 beginners it was a great introduction to lure and float fishing, with a local expert, followed by an awesome lunch in a very old rural farmhouse / restaurant. The quality and quantity of the traditional food was way better than we expected on a "fishing trip"

Where do we meet?
We will pick you up at your hotel (Available only in the center of Takayama city or Hida Furukawa). Please inform us of your hotel in advance.

In case of rain, do you run the tour?
Basically we don't run the tour in case of the rain for the safety. If we decide to cancel the tour, we will inform you by a day before the tour. (The tour may be cancelled if the previous day’s weather forecast (Japan Meteorological Agency) says the chance of rain is more than 60%. Please be sure to check your email before the tour.
