DO THIS!!!!!!! My mom, sister, and I took our first trip to Japan this last October. We spent a few days in Takayama and took the train one stop to do this tour. We make a point to do at least one bike tour in every country we travel to. Shingo was the best of the best – an informed, fun, and patient guide. He’s passionate about his hometown and his English is excellent. The countryside is beautiful and it was special to feel the vibe of the town. It didn’t hurt that the bikes were electric and we cruised up all hills effortlessly. We will treasure this afternoon forever (and can, because Shingo took lots of pictures of us and shared them on google drive after). Don’t miss this!!!
